“In order to love who you are, you cannot hate the experiences that shaped you.” – Andrea Dykstra
Hello, and Happy New Year Everyone!!
I want to start 2019 out first with a huge THANK YOU to all who chose to subscribe to my blog. I am honored and truly humbled by your choice to spend a little of your life with me. If you haven’t noticed, I have made a few changes to my page. A fresh new look for a fresh new year. The work is still in progress and will eventually include a Podcast and possibly Youtube Videos, filled with interesting topics, guest speakers and discussions. A shot out to Ed Freeze and his team at Application X for bringing me into 2019 with an improved presentation and a visually pleasing site.
As for the content, I will continue to be moved by what lies in my spirit to share. This blog continues to be my therapy and a lot has occurred over the last several months in my personal life that I will be sharing to hopefully encourage or at minimum help you realize that we’re never really alone in our struggles with life. There are no mistakes, only opportunities for growth. However those opportunities rely on our choice to own our part, forgive ourselves and others, and press towards the higher calling that lives deep within us, despite our yesterdays.
So as I have transformed this blog, it is also symbolic of what is going inside of me as well, and hopefully you too. Beyond simple resolutions that we proclaim at each new year, and attempt to stick with, what one thing would you like to accomplish in 2019? Just one thing. Can you see it with your minds eye? When you do, write it down, and only tell one two trusted people, if any at all. What does it look like to get closer to it? What steps need to be taken? Who and what will be required to get you there? And lastly, are they only words resonating in your head, or is there a deep passion burning inside of you speaking clearly and loudly about this transformation, this new you, this new outlook?
Let’s make it happen in 2019, together! I am ready to step out on new ledges, declare new things and transform into more than who I am today.
Keep Pressing,
Hank G
